A vacancy has arisen in the Financial and Administration Department of the Gauteng Cricket Board.
POSITION: FINANCIAL MANAGER

The following basic experience is required:

 
  1. Knowledge & Experience
  1. Excellent knowledge and experience in all financial disciplines, including, but not limited to:
      • Accounts Receivable processing and management
      • Accounts Payable processing and management
      • Cashbook processing and management 
      • General Ledger management and analysing
      • Producing Management Accounts and analysing of such
      • Internal auditing capabilities and experience
      • BBBEE Scorecard processes and management
      • Skills Development processes and management
      • Employment Equity processes and management
  1. Budget, Planning and Control – full budget process
  2. Procurement of goods and services and the management and control according to Company policies and procedures in line with SODA (Schedule of Delegated Authority)
  3. Sound Cash Flow and Investment experience
  4. Report writing and feedback to the CEO, The Board of Directors and Board sub-committees
  5. Annual external audit preparation, management and execution.
  6. Usage of computers and related software, with sound experience in Sage Pastel Accounting, VIP Payroll and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  7. Public relations and service levels
  8. Negotiating skills with various services providers and stake holders for the Group companies
  9. Office Administration management experience and capabilities
